What is it like to experience an FNI session?
Every person experiences Functional Neuro-physiological Integration differently.
Some people are naturally curious about the process. Others arrive unsure what to expect. Because FNI is individualised, no two sessions necessarily follow exactly the same pathway.
The comments below are based on genuine feedback received from clients about their experience of the service, the environment and the way sessions are conducted.
References to personal medical conditions, symptoms and health outcomes have intentionally been omitted from this page.
These experiences should not be interpreted as a prediction of how another person will respond.
A safe and relaxed environment
One theme that appears repeatedly in client feedback is the importance of feeling comfortable enough to participate in what can sometimes be a very personal process.

An individual process
There is no expected way to experience FNI.
A session may be quiet and subtle. At other times there may be more noticeable changes in breathing, posture, sensation, thought flow or emotion.
There is no requirement to produce any particular reaction.
The FNI process is guided by assessment, calibration and repeated reassessment rather than by trying to create a predetermined outcome.
The objective is to provide a professional, respectful environment in which the individual’s responses can be observed without unnecessary pressure or expectation.
What you can expect from me
My aim is to provide an FNI session that is:
Individualised
The process responds to the person rather than following exactly the same sequence for everyone.
Gentle
FNI Manual Muscle Testing and most correction procedures use very light physical input.
Respectful
You remain in control of what you choose to discuss and how far you wish to explore something.
Explained
Questions are welcome. I will explain what I am doing and why wherever possible.
Calm
The FNI environment is deliberately kept as neutral and low-stress as practical so subtle changes can be observed.
Collaborative
FNI is something we work through together rather than something simply done to you.
Considering an FNI session?
If Functional Neuro-physiological Integration is unfamiliar to you, you are welcome to ask questions before booking.
You do not need to know the terminology or understand the technical model beforehand.
We can simply begin with the FNI Pre-Screen, establish whether the process is appropriate to continue, and take things from there.
Functional Neuro-physiological Integration
Professional. Individualised. Gentle. Curious.
A structured process, with room for the individual.
